Greenhouse effect regulates the temperature of the Earth: gases produced by human activity cause global warning

The greenhouse effect is a natural phenomenon that regulates the temperature of the Earth’s surface. Its action makes the planet a favorable environment to the existence of life. If it did not exist, the average temperature of the Earth’s surface would be -18°C, as compared to the 15°C we have today, that is, 33°C lower.
