The Nordic countries are among the most successful in the aspect of clean and renewable energy: Iceland already has almost 100% of its electricity produced by clean sources; Denmark can already produce more eolic energy than it consumes; and Sweden invests US$ 550 million annually to become the first country in the world free of fossil fuels. In China, the government invests even more – just in 2017, the Chineses spent US$ 126 billion to sponsor clean sources. Meanwhile, in Africa, eolic, solar, and geothermal plants generate income, jobs, and electricity to those who need.
