Vidigal School: a new literacy
The project designed by the institute Arte em Trânsito - Art in Transit Institute -, by the artist Vik Muniz, encourages corporal, artistic and emotional activities
Located on Vidigal Hill, south of Rio de Janeiro, Vidigal School promotes a literacy process that goes beyond traditional. Over there, 60 students between 4 and 12 years old are part of the Multiple Literacy Labs. Currently, there are four types: Visual Literacy, Body Literacy, Emotional Literacy and Digital Literacy.
